HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

It is PP’s policy that each employee is provided with a safe and healthy place in which to work. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that our personnel are provided with information in the areas of accident prevention, injury protection, health preservation and education to achieve a safe workplace and to ensure that they work in a safe manner.

Client organisations are also requested to provide contract personnel with a safe and healthy working environment.

No business objective can take precedence over safety and health

All accidents and injuries are preventable

Every employee is responsible for his/ner safety within the workplace and the safety of colleagues

Employees have a responsibility and accountability to identify, eliminate or manage risks associated with their workplace.

We endeavour to provide appropriately skilled temporary and contract employees capable of efficiently and safely carrying out their duties. Clients are expected to provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment for those employees and contractors.

We encourage and require our staff and contract employees to familiarise themselves with the (client) workplace, policies and procedures and to ask questions when not sure about any aspect of the workplace environment.

Any employee injured in the course of their contract will be assisted by PP to return as quickly as possible to meaningful work after an injury or accident in accordance with our Injury Management Strategy.

Employees and contractors must carry out their work safely without risk to themselves and others and must agree to comply with all statutory legislation and client policies and procedures whilst on assignment through PP with any client company
